JAMES, FLORRIE
- Tractatus Logico Philisophicus A transcription of Wittgenstein's book Tractatus Logico Philisophicus, re-written on an industrial roll of printing paper. It commmunicates a fidelity to the investigation of what meaning is.

- Munch's Sun, installation shot. The sun motif from Edward Munch's paintings is minimised and enlarged as homage to Munch's retrieval of emotional sybolism. This sybmolic icon is repeated again and again in other paintings and films so that it becomes the only content of a body of work.

F. James’s work comments on cultural and art history: existence, failure and continuation. She uses the medium of appropriated design, prose, painting and filmmaking.
Her work exists within a structure of historical documentation as an attempt at talking about time and all things. A problematic critique of the artist is coupled with attempts to achieve all encompassing, impossible situations. For example, F James is working and researching collaboratively towards the formation of a new democracy. F James is also learning the history of philosophical thought and examining the phenomenon of the genius.
Sometimes it is good to discuss current art practices by way of reducing all artistic production to mere aesthetics and knowingly bypassing any real meaning.
The performance Trancendental Indexation connected and cross-referenced all ideas in the history of philosophy. It was an attempt at knowing all the information that moves around us within what might be called the knowledge economy.
Should try to find a different way of communicating to that which she is tired of.
