BAYNES, JENNY
- untitled (still) stop motion animation 1:20mins

Be it literally or symbolically, home crafts are recurrent in my practice. Working with animation, installation, drawing, photography and sculpture, I make links between the past and the present, the real and the imaginary. Collected stories, found textiles and objects feed into my work, exploring relationships between the transient and the permanent, suggestive of forgotten memories or folk tales. At first, seemingly naive and innocent, the work slowly unfolds, revealing subtle uncertainty and destruction.
